Thirty yearsbehind the decks.
I’m Justin Dietz. I run DJ Eternal, and I’ve been filling dance floors across Southern Oregon since 1996.
It’s always
me.
Ask about a date and you’re talking to me. Turn up on the day and I’m the one behind the decks. I cover weddings, corporate nights, holiday parties, award nights, launches, birthdays, quinceañeras, school dances and anniversaries.
I work Grants Pass, Medford, Ashland and Jacksonville, and I travel about an hour out from the Rogue Valley in any direction.
Nightclubs
first.
I started in 1996, headlining nightclubs. Weddings came in 1998, then private parties and special events. Three decades of that taught me how to read a room, steer the energy, and give people a reason to stay on the floor.
For years a Saturday wedding ran straight into my headline set at the club. The wedding party usually followed me there.
Since 2015 I’ve focused on weddings and private events. The club years are what you hear once the party opens up.
More than 2,500 events. By now I’ve seen most of what a room can do.
One continuous
mix.
Every song blends into the next. The new track is already playing before the last one ends.
I mix by tempo and by musical key, so every transition carries the momentum forward. Clean, smooth, deliberate.
Every song is doing a job: a singalong people already know, one that pulls a new group onto the floor, or a lift at the moment the room is ready for it.
I keep 28,800 songs on hand for that: pop, hip‑hop and R&B, country, rock, Motown and funk, dance and throwbacks, plus a deep shelf of DJ edits and remixes.
Read from
the room.
Experience matters most when the room changes and the plan has to change with it. I know when to let a song breathe, when to cut early, and when a surprise pick will pull the whole floor together.
I build a playlist, then I follow the room.
It arrives
with me.
Sound for the ceremony and for the reception. A wireless mic for the officiant and the toasts. Lighting for the dance floor.
It arrives with me and it leaves with me.
On the mic
when it matters.
I emcee too. Introductions, announcements, the cues that tell a full room what happens next. I speak when the night needs it and let the music carry the rest.
One event
per day. Yours.
Yours is the only event on my calendar that day. I arrive early, I stay to the end, and my whole attention belongs to your night.
I ran the grind in my younger years. Now I take one a day because that’s how I want to work.
What it
costs.
Most weddings land between $1,800 and $2,500, depending on hours and what the day needs.
Tell me the date and what you have in mind and I’ll give you a real number, not a brochure.
Every song has a job.
You Say “I Do.” I’ll “Do” the Rest!
Keep the floor full, active and connected, from the first song to the final encore.
Build your must‑plays and do‑not‑plays in the Music Planner. It saves in your browser as you go, so you can start now and finish whenever.
